Mismanagement, Corruption, Greed

The more things change the more they stay the same. Emergency Financial Managers in Detroit, Pontiac and now probably in Benton Harbor cost the state more than the troubled local government they replaced. See here.

It seems the "business" of running towns and schools is a bit more difficult than Snyder and his backers thought. Aside from the odious priorities they are imposing, they are not even doing it well.
